Prince George Runway Extension

L&M Engineering was the lead development and design team for the Prince George Airport Runway Extension Project. L&M Engineering implemented the tender and contract administration as well as the preparation of field and change orders. In addition, L&M provided construction review services, implemented geotechnical control / assurance programs and ensured operational status of the airport was maintained during construction. L&M Engineering developed and coordinated required project works with the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure, the City of Prince George, BC Hydro, Telus and Terasen Gas.

The extension of the main runway was constructed to 11,400 feet, making it the third longest runway in Canada.
