The L&M Engineering Planning Centre is experienced in the creation and interpretation of long-range planning documents such as Official Community Plans, Zoning Bylaws, Pedestrian Network Planning, Recreational Planning, Bylaw Creation/Consolidation and Neighbourhood Plans. These processes typically require significant public engagement as well as coordination with municipal staff and Council. The aforesaid policy creation includes reviews of new and innovative approaches to planning as well as ensuring that new policies and plan objectives align with both current and future demands for GHG emission targets, financial planning, upcoming trends and community objectives as well as age-friendly and accessible design standards. At any given point in time, the L&M Planning Centre is contracted to work on one or more of the following forms of long-range planning:
